On Saturday the 14th of April, Readytex Art Gallery will host an interesting presentation by researcher and publicist Ellen de Vries. During her presentation Ellen de Vries will talk about the research that she is doing into the cultural heritage of the artist Nola Hatterman (1899-1984). The presentation will include a slideshow of images, among which also works from Nola. The purpose of her research is a large multimedia project intended to generate broad attention for the legacy of Nola Hatterman and her students, in the form of exhibitions in the Netherlands and Suriname, a documentary and a monograph.
After the presentation the film made by Frank Zichem about Nola Hatterman in 1982, will be shown as well.
